OUR ACCESSORIES

Although our focus here at Progressive is linear actuators, we know that in order to make your project come to life you’ll need more than just that. Which is why we have a selection mounting brackets, control systems, power supplies and accessories to go with them. Each one of our models comes equipped with factory manufactured mounting holes on both ends and have specifically designed mounting brackets to go with them, for the stroke and motor end. These are made only from the strongest and sturdiest materials in order to keep your unit safe and secure when mounted. With our mounting brackets the mounting process is made simple and every set of brackets comes with everything you need for installation. For control of all of our models we have numerous advanced control systems including our line of PLC controls and specialized control boxes. Our control boxes provide a variety of different ways to control our units such as synchronized movement cycles and Wi-Fi control.

Once you have a project built combining a 12V actuator, control system and bracket, you’ll still need something to power that system. That is why we carry a selection of power supplies and adapters with many different voltage and amperage ratings to energize your applications. We also have accessories that you can add to your application. You can find relays, speed controllers, wiring kits and other useful accessories to really take your application to the next level.

HOW CAN I DETERMINE WHICH PROGRESSIVE AUTOMATIONS LINEAR ACTUATOR IS BEST SUITED FOR MY APPLICATION?

Depending on your application, there are different specification requirements you should consider when determining the linear actuator you need. CAN I USE YOUR ACTUATORS TO REPLACE THE ONE THAT I ALREADY HAVE?

Yes, our actuators can be seamless replacements for most applications. Please contact us if you are unsure of which actuator to opt for. You will need to know the voltage rating, force rating, and stroke length needed before we can give a recommendation for a replacement actuator.

CAN I USE MY OWN POWER SUPPLY AS A SOURCE FOR MY ACTUATORS?

HOW CAN I CONTROL ACTUATORS TO TRAVEL AT THE SAME TIME?

To achieve synchronous motion control, you will require feedback. We offer feedback in the forms of internal limit switches, potentiometers, or hall effect sensors. CAN I CUSTOMIZE A LINEAR ACTUATOR TO MY SPECIFICATIONS?

Most of our linear actuators are available for customization. Please refer to your desired product’s datasheet to view the full capabilities of its custom options. Please note there will be a lead time of approximately 20 – 25 business days for production, excluding shipping time. There will also be an additional fee for each actuator that is modified. CAN I SYNCHRONIZE MY LINEAR ACTUATORS?

Yes, this is possible. However, it does depend on the units you are currently using. To synchronize actuators, they require a form of feedback such as a potentiometer or hall effect sensors. For more information, see below some of our key content regarding linear actuator synchronization.
